Collett Building Services (CBS) is a locally owned and operated company operating from Collinsville in North Queensland. CBS has been operating in the civil construction for over 13 years and for the past 4 years have entered into the solar market, growing our experiences by working with a variety of solar O&M teams across the country.
CBS owns and operates a fleet of modern and specialized equipment and provides services such as Civil Construction, Earthworks, Operation and Maintenance of Large and small scale Solar farms, ground maintenance and PV Panel Cleaning.
Our proactive and innovative team of skilled people with the use of specialised equipment, strives to deliver to our clients projects of the highest quality, on time and cost effectively.

Our integrated management system is designed to ensure protection of our staff and the environment to the highest possible standards. Collett Building Services believes our people are the most valuable asset and the health and safety of all persons including the community is our number one priority and cannot be compromised. We believe all injuries and accidents are preventable and risk analysis and preventative measures forms a key part of our job procedures.
To achieve the stated policy objective, the commitment and contribution of each and every worker is required through:

QUALITY
Collett Building Services holds a reputation for and is committed to achieving quality excellence in all aspects of our business. To achieve our quality objectives, a system has been implemented in accordance with the requirements outlined in the Australian Standard AS/NZS ISO 9001:2016 which has been communicated to and understood within the organisation.
To maintain this level of reputation in quality excellence we have developed a quality system based on maintaining plans and procedures. We indicate and assign duties, set up methods and standards by which we gauge performance, and evaluate the result. We undertake training of our personnel in order to continually improve employee skills awareness and knowledge of quality issues and practices.
ENVIRONMENT
At Collett Building Services we strive to conserve resources, reduce waste, eliminate pollution and minimise the environmental impact our projects have. Through consultation with the community and conformance with statutory requirements site specific environmental plans are designed for each of our projects.
CBS Environmental Policy is to inform employees and other interested parties that Environmental Management is an integral part of its operations. All employees are actively involved in the review and continual improvement of Environmental performance as this reinforces the company’s objectives.
